舞蹈与音乐的转译

《舞蹈与音乐的转译》是对于不同艺术媒介之间相互转译的研究项目，基于芭蕾舞吉赛尔选段。利用动作捕捉，数字信号处理等技术手段，以及贝尼什舞谱、交响乐谱的比较研究，我们试图探索舞蹈与音乐深层联系。芭蕾舞蹈动作被转化为数字信号形成新的乐曲，新乐曲与原钢琴曲相互叠加形成全新的吉赛尔交响乐。

MYStudio-于博柔闵嘉剑

MYStudio由于博柔和闵嘉剑成立于纽约，是一个致力于跨学科设计研究的工作室，设计内容涵盖建筑、戏剧、影像、展览、舞蹈、音乐等领域。于博柔与闵嘉剑于哈佛大学中国艺术媒体实验室担任策展人，入选2021年The YET TO .COM(E)艺术家入驻计划。已获得“未来已来”杰出海外留学青年艺术家学术提名奖，阿布扎比电影艺术综合体等众多国际奖项；艺术作品在林茨电子艺术节， ACM Siggraph Asia，光年2020数字艺术创意大赛 ，独立短片电影节，里斯本电影节，瑞典卢勒奥电影节， 艺术杂志《布林客》，清华建筑学院、耶鲁建筑学院、耶鲁自然博物馆展出；学术论文发表于ACM 数字图书馆，北京舞蹈学院BDA舞蹈论坛，中国美术学院“实践智慧之网”青年学者论坛，北京电影学院动画学院奖等会议期刊。

Translation between Dance and Music

Translation between Dance and Music is an exploration on the translation between different art types, based on the Ballet Giselle. Here physical movement is adopted into digital signal and sound. Always performed together, music and dance share similarities and correspondences. However, the relationship between these two art types have remained mysterious. This project is exploring an innovative strategy of deeper engagement between music and dance. In this project, a 1-minute clip from the ballet Giselle Act I (Scene 1.7 Peasant Pas de Deux, Male 1st Variation) is analyzed, and new music clips are generated and developed.

MYStudio-Anna Borou Yu Jiajian Min

Anna Borou Yu and Jiajian Min are the founders and directors of MYStudio (https://mystudio.design/), a design studio in NYC engaging in interdisciplinary research and multimedia design, including architecture, theatre, film, exhibition, dance, music, etc. We are currently collaborating with Harvard Chinese Art Media Lab as curators and project managers. MYStudio has won numerous awards including KUART Outstanding Overseas Young Artist Nomination Award (China) and Cinema Box Competition in Abu Dhabi, etc. Our artworks have been featured at Ars Electronica Festival, ACM Siggraph Asia Art Gallery, Lisbon Film Rendezvous, Indie Short Fest, Luleå International Film Festival, YanJiao Biennial, Tsinghua University, Yale School of Architecture, Yale Peabody Museum as well as Dunhuang Academy and Tencent Interactive Entertainment Group. Our research has been published by ACM Digital Library, Beijing Dance Academy Conference, China Academy of Art Youth Scholars Forum, 20th Animation Academy Award of Beijing Film Academy and Blink Art Magazine.
